Contemporary Palette Knife Painting

This painting started out on my easel as a horizontal abstract with shapes and colors representing a keyboard. After working with oil sticks, palette knife and a rubber scraper, it was in a state of uncertainty. Last week I decided to flip the canvas and paint something abstract with the canvas sitting vertically. Once colors and shapes appeared, I saw a very colorful and textural floral still life.
