New Daffodil Palette Knife Painting by Niki Gulley

Daily Painting #13

"Daffodils Popping" #1 ©2020 Niki Gulley
5" x 5" textured acrylic painting

You know that spring has arrived when yo see your first daffodil. That is why many societies use their blooms as a sign to start their festivals. They are short lived though, so enjoy their beauty while you can, that is what I did. Their petals always seem to make me smile as they appear to dance with the slightest of movement.

If you're interested in purchasing this painting and seeing a close up of its thick texture, just follow this link http://nikigulley.com/daffodils-popping-1/.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website
