This was created from a painting trip to Pagosa Springs. While searching for a place to set up we can upon this beautiful meadow. It was filled with the colors of fall. Painting this in the studio brought back many joyful memories of travel during the fall foliage.

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
