I was inspired this year to paint uplifting energetic scenes to give spirits a boost. I chose to make the subjects appear as if they were about to come off the canvas and fill you homes with joy and happiness. By leaving more negative space around bright red blooms, it makes them more airy and give them room to flow.

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
