New Textured Abstract Aspen Tree Painting by Niki Gulley

“Forest Symphony" ©2021 Niki Gulley
36” x 36" textured mixed media painting
on 1.5" wrap around canvas with the painting continuing around the edges

Slim white trunks sing out against the forest background and each leaf provides
a sparkling symphony of notes whispering through the landscape.
Flames of yellow leaves flicker against autumn’s burning hues
beckoning you to explore the magical journey ahead.

This painting captures the breathtaking fall colors when the aspens are at their most beautiful and you can enjoy the rustling murmur and musical sighs of their fluttering leaves.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
