"Ice Drift" Palette Knife Painting of Iceland's Iceburgs by Niki Gulley

"Ice Drift" ©2021 Niki Gulley
9" x 12” textured oil painting

Our journey around Iceland brought us to the unique lagoons in the southern part of this beautiful country. I was just mesmerized by these frozen monoliths lazily floating in their icy wonderland. The shapes and colors created all kinds of dazzling patterns and geometry to work with. This one in particular grabbed my attention set against the dark mountain in the background.
