"Rhythms of Summer V"
 ©2022 Niki Gulley
34" x 34" textured mixed media painting on canvas

Colorado in July is such a beautiful sight to behold! Cool mountain breezes and fresh, untouched air invigorate your soul while cheerful lupine and native wildflowers lift your spirits and fill your heart with joy. Nature's symphony dances to a tune that is music for your senses. Loaded with texture and color, may "Rhythms of Summer" transport you to this magical land of breathtaking views and summer serenity.

This abstracted aspen painting is currently exhibiting at the Good Art Company Gallery in Fredericksburg, TX. For more details, please go to goodartcompany.com/niki-gulley.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
