Blue Heron is done in oils on a 20"x16" stretched canvas. It is framed in a frame that comes with the painting. I love to paint birds and this was no exception

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
