After the Rain, by Melissa A. Torres, 30x24x2 acrylic on cradled gessobord

This painting was inspired by a photo taken by a friend on her farm in Ohio. She was out on her evening walk. The road is actually gravel, but I felt like a dirt road with some mud puddles would be nice. To see more of my work please visit my website at  www.melissaatorresart.com . I post my work for sale at my  Etsy  shop. Follow me on  Facebook . Thank you for looking!

"After the Rain" by Joan Eure Fine Art

"After the Rain" 35x24 inch Oil on Canvas with Frame $400.00 plus tax and shipping The art piece is now hanging at Access Health in Richmond, Texas.  Members of Art League of Fort Bend (that includes me) have merged together.  They love our art and we love their bare walls.  We are also allowed to sale our art pieces.  There are probably 50 painting hanging.  I have six pieces there.  For you locals, go check it out. This piece came about from a trip that I made back to my roots, The Wichita Mountains near Lawton, Oklahoma a few years ago.  It had rained before we went, autumn was in the air, and in climbing the mountain, we came upon this beautiful little puddle.  I loved it with the reflections on the water.  My daughter in law Michelle is an excellent photographer and she snapped a photo, and of course, I couldn't resist but to paint it.  It can be your by contacting me below. Then Came Three, Horse Paintings by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Then Came Three  © Laurie Pace 2014   © G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2014 Then Came Three  Size: 8 x 10  Oil on Canvas. SOLD Available Paintings by Laurie Pace  Stop by my website to see available paintings.  I cannot believe this is the end of June... and tomorrow is July.  I count through the summer months in anticipation of Fall, often trying to hurry time.  Does not make sense!   July is ahead with many family activities and joyful gatherings... birthdays, the Fourth of July and lazy summer evenings.  My twinkle light surround the back porch area... the mosquito plants surround the porch and the little egg filled with citronella is doing its job. Memories in the making on these hot summer days and lazy evenings.  Terry has our backyard filled with roses, flowers and our garden. Our morning hours are spent from about 6-7 in the garden and hand...

On the Bench

On the Bench Still Life 11 x 14 Oil on Belgian Linen Randall Cogburn To Purchase email me. Price: $300 + s/h, insurance A little story about why I chose this subject to paint. It was a stormy day  about noon or so. The sky was filled with clouds filled with water ready to gush down. In fact it had been raining quite a bit early morning. On the back porch I have a workbench and where I do all things that require cutting wood, or fixing this or that, you know, man stuff. The roof over the porch extends about 15 feet away from the house and makes for a nice place to work but also cast a big shade on everything. The trees in the backyard add to the problem also. However there was just enough light to make the gas can and a few other things emerge from the darkness. Lately I've been interested in capturing things around the house in low light situations and on this day it paid off. Hope to do more like this.

Art, Love and Roses by Pamela Blaies

Keepsake 12" x 9" SOLD A romantic collector purchased  Keepsake  this week as a gift for his lucky wife of 38 years.  He shared with me that upon opening the box, she cried - in a good way!  I was very touched by this story.  Recently another collector gifted his wife a painting of red roses,  Be Mine , and he also shared the wonderful "reveal" story with me.  Art has a special way of touching others which is so exciting to experience from my perspective, as the artist.  Art, love and roses...a beautiful combination! Be Mine 9" x 12" SOLD I love to share my art and inspiration. Click  HERE  to sign up for my email newsletter and receive a free gift of postcards. Follow me on Facebook.

New Colorado Aspen Tree Oil Painting by Niki Gulley

“Aspen Concerto” ©2014 Niki Gulley 24” x 18” textured oil painting Colorado’s celebrated quaking aspen trees stand arrow straight in the valleys and up and down the hills. Slim white trunks sing out against the forest background and each leaf provides a sparkling symphony of notes whispering through the mountains. Flames of yellow leaves flicker against autumn’s burning reds and the deep, cool blue mountain streaked with early banks of snow. This painting captures the breathtaking colors of Colorado in the fall, the Aspens at their most beautiful, the peaceful snow-banked mountain, the rustling murmur and musical sigh of the fluttering leaves. E-mail Niki Gulley for more information on her contemporary landscape paintings. See NikiGulley.com
